News

Not really news... I left the book cover up because, well, I don't really have many readers here anyway AND the book (all the May LI books) hasn't been showing up much until lately. Some good news is that it's been selling well in eook formates, both Kindle and Nook!

This has me thinking about self pubbing ebooks and learning more about that - it's been on my mind and the minds of most writers for some time now and as people make headway in sales with these books it becomes an essential arena for writers to educate themselves about. Still, there is at least ONE book I want sold into ink and paper - so I press on. Hope you are figuring out what you want and are doing the same.

  1. Congrats on the latest book, Annie! I've been tossing around the self-pub and ebook thing for a number of reasons. I self published a booklet for homeschool parents but haven't done much marketing with it. I've been encouraged to make it available as an ebook too.

Then I've thought about putting together a proposal to expand and convert it into a traditionally published book. Meanwhile, I'm teaching online, writing, and just started a new fiction project. I need more hours in the day...So yes, I am figuring a bunch of stuff out, and thanks for asking.

Looking forward to seeing you at the conference on May 21.

    Have a great week,
    Karen

  2. Karen, if you are already doing so much online, epubbing makes so much sense - really, you need traditional publishing to get your work to readers, if you already have a relationship with readers, go directly to them. If you do well, you can still pitch the paper pubs.
